A little bit about who we are
POP Gardens has been set up by Lynne Evans who wanted to combine her expertise in Occupational Therapy with her passion for the practical and emotional benefits of gardening to support wellbeing and recovery.
"I created POP Gardens workshops with the intent on helping other health professionals use horticulture as therapy. As the current courses on offer in the UK are fairly general and do not cover in-depth knowledge for therapists working in clinical settings. POP BOX evolved from my experience of running gardening and art group therapy sessions in hospitals for over 15 years."
To improve mental & physical health
Lynne has been a registered Occupational Therapist since 2003 and has specialised in acute mental health as well as palliative care, memory services and community gardening with children and adults.
Our specialist services cover training for healthcare professionals in horticultural therapy, delivering group sessions, providing advice and information on this area and we can provide carefully prepared bespoke POP Garden activity boxes to support the practical delivery of sessions.
